CDRP® - Certified Data Center Risk Professional

The two-day Certified Data Center Risk Professional (CDRP) course provides support throughout the entire risk management process. This training focuses on data center infrastructure, as well as the setup and equipment of the physical data center. You will acquire key skills to minimize risk as best as possible . This course is based on international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 and guidelines such as ISO/IEC 27005: 2011, NIST 800-30, and ISO/IEC 31000. You will learn methodological skills for identifying and assessing risks, providing you with important information for decision-making.

Certified Data Centre Risk Professional: What you can expect from this course

As a participant, you don't need any special prerequisites, but we recommend a certain level of expertise. With at least three years of experience in data centers and/or IT infrastructures, you're ideally prepared for this seminar. We also recommend completing the Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) course beforehand —but this is not a requirement.

If you successfully complete the CDRP training, you will be able to, among other things:

  • Understand the different standards and methodologies for risk management and assessment .
  • To build the necessary project team for risk management.
  • Conduct a risk assessment to identify current threats .
  • To avert or minimize potential financial impacts .
  • Understanding the possibilities of risk policy .
  • To reduce the frequency and severity of incidents .
  • And much more.

The target group for CDRP certification

Our CDRP certification is aimed at IT, operations, and data center operations professionals who work both in and around the data center. They are responsible for achieving and improving data center availability and manageability. These include data center managers, operations, floor, and facility managers, IT managers and IT officers, security professionals, auditors, risk managers, and IT and corporate governance professionals.

This is how the certification exam works

The multiple-choice exam for the Certified Data Centre Risk Professional lasts 60 minutes and consists of 40 questions. Candidates who correctly answer at least 27 of the 40 questions are considered to have passed the test. Successful candidates receive the internationally recognized Certified Data Centre Risk Professional (CDRP) certificate .

The CDRP certificate is valid for a period of three years , after which recertification is required. The EPI Recertification Program details available options.

Recognized training accreditation

Of course, the CDRP certificate, like the CDFOM certificate, is accredited worldwide by EXIN.
